A wonderful summer transitioned nicely into a wonderful fall. Paige started school in September at our local school just a few short blocks from our house. Matt walks her to school in the morning and Melissa picks her up in the afternoon. She goes every morning five days a week and loves it!

The weather was so nice we did a late fall camping trip to Yellowstone Lake State Park. We practically had the place to ourselves and enjoyed fishing and hiking around the lake. Next up was Halloween. Melissa and Paige spent it in Minneapolis with Paige’s cousins. Paige dressed as a princess and went to Cousin Tora’s Halloween Party at her school.

Melissa spent a girls weekend in Las Vegas in November with Julia and Heidi. They had a great time catching up and eating nice dinner’s out and generally relaxing by the pool sans kids. Matt hosted guys weekend in Milwaukee which was probably less “relaxing” than girls weekend. He and his friends watched the final two games of the World Series and celebrated to his neighbors “delight” in Milwaukee (still bitter about the NLCS loss).

It started getting cold so we took a couple final hikes in the area and along Lake Michigan. We got some snow free exercise in....now just a matter of time.....until winter.
